    Default A&P Student toolset wanted

I am looking to get a basic starter set of quality A&P tools. Looking at better grade of tools from Snap-On, MAC, etc that I can use after training as well as a good toolbox.

And wait till you get a school ID, so Snap on has like 40% off for studants

    Hi Steve,

Well under 3k if possible. I signed up already and contacted local Snap-On campus rep so hopefully can get nice discount on aviation toolset for now and future.

3K will get you a nice set if you stay with a line box and do not get too much swag.

Heavy on 1/4 inch, wrenches, screwdrivers.

Ill photo my line box if you like

This is my line box. For the most part I never need a tool that is not in here.

Agree and spoke with snap on and waiting for rep to call me back after the holidays. I am thinking something like this:

The aircraft set from Snap on is about $1550. Plus tax.

If you post your school list, we might be able to point you more in the right direction. Remember, it's just a basic list. You're going to have to purchase other stuff. Each aircraft I've worked on so far has required something I didn't have in my box.
