    Only semi gimmicky tool I have, is the mini screwdriver set from snap on, the round disk with the 3 bits metal handle, and a zero play bearing setup magnificent tool. I think mac or matco made a ratchet of the same principle.

    Other than that, I doubt you made the Johnson Bar.......

    Well I'm not going to debate the Boeing latches. I guess the mistake I made is using a screwdriver as a screwdriver. But I feel ya Ron

    Well if your not set for life for that invention, they are ripping you off.
    That's a cool thing, I have seen them.

    I have many tool ideas, some got invented as they were tribal knowledge, some are so specific as not to have a wide spread market.

    I did invent a thing, that Snap on 15 years later invented. In the mid 80's I welded a lug nut to a throwout bearing, to a lug nut to make lug stud R&R a snap.

    15 years later there it was in the catalog lol
