    Default Drilling powder coated sheetmetal

Does anyone here have experience drilling holes and cleaning out holes on powder coated sheetmetal? I am making an instrument panel, and the owner is having it powder coated. I will have to clean the holes out for the instruments and screws to fit but I am concerned the powder coat will chip away.

Be better to put a blocker where you don't want the coating ie the countersinks and the holes that will be tight. Much better than trying tio remove a coating that's baked on.
